MUNNAR

THEKKADY
Thekkady is a captivating destination located in the Idukki district of Kerala, India. Situated in the Periyar National Park, Thekkady is renowned for its rich biodiversity and scenic beauty. The highlight of Thekkady is the Periyar National Park, one of the most prominent wildlife reserves in India. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, tigers, sambar deer, and exotic bird species. Thekkady also provides opportunities to experience the rich cultural heritage of Kerala through traditional dance performances, martial arts demonstrations, and visits to tribal villages.
KOVALAM
Kovalam is a renowned coastal town located in the southern Indian state of Kerala. ituated about 16 kilometers (10 miles) from the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), Kovalam is nestled along the Arabian Sea coastline. Kovalam is famous for its three crescent-shaped beaches - Lighthouse Beach: Named after the iconic Vizhinjam Lighthouse located on a nearby hill, this beach is the most popular among tourists. - Hawah Beach: Known for its serene ambiance, Hawah Beach is a favorite spot for sunbathing and leisurely strolls. - Samudra Beach: Located north of the Lighthouse Beach, Samudra Beach offers a quieter atmosphere and is ideal for relaxation.
ALLEPPEY
Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha, is a picturesque town in the southern Indian state of Kerala. Alleppey is famous for its intricate network of backwaters, lagoons, and canals, often referred to as the "Venice of the East." Houseboat cruises along the backwaters offer a unique and tranquil experience, allowing visitors to witness rural life and lush landscapes. Alleppey is home to beautiful beaches such as Alappuzha Beach and Marari Beach, where visitors can relax, swim, and enjoy stunning sunsets.
We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. Arrival at Cochin. Then to Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. On the way visit the very famous Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar.
After breakfast to Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and vast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. Afternoon visit Rajamala- house of the highly endangered mountain goats - the Nilgiri Thars (Rajamala is closed from Feb 1st to Mar 31st, 2021). Overnight stay at Munnar.
Morning proceed to Thekkady. By noon at Thekkady. Then proceed to Periyar lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating (cost extra). This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. You can also enjoy a plantation tour covering tea,coffee, cardamom, pepper, cinnamon etc. Stay in Thekkady.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Kovalam- the internationally renowned beach destination. Spend the rest of the day in the sandy beaches of Kovalam flanked by coconut groves on one side and Arabian sea on the other. Overnight at the beach side hotel.
Morning after breakfast proceed for a city tour of Trivandrum covering Napier Museum and Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple. Afternoon at leisure in Kovalam. Overnight at Kovalam.
Morning after breakfast drive to Kumarakam or Alleppey. By noon check in at the hotel . Afternoon do a couple of hours motor boat cruise (optional- cost not included) through the the legendary backwaters of Kerala. On the way you will witness a full range of lifes and activities and some mind boggling sceneries. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Kumarakam or Alleppey.
Morning after breakfast check out from the houseboat/ hotel and proceed to Cochin International Airport for return journey.

In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS..
The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.
Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.
In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.
We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.
The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).
